what colors/furniture can i associate with either a zen or an indian themed room?

I have one really nice idea already, but im getting more ideas so i can have a nice batch of choices. so what colors/furniture would go with a zen theme room or a indian theme room and which theme do you prefer?

1. i would prefer zen, go with nature colors that are pale/ pastel like light green wall color that is still bright at the same time, some brown or black trim, and white somewhere like for accents
2. zen colors tend to be cool and indian colors (either spots or feathers...you didnt specify) tend to be warmer. i prefer warm colors in my own home and i am a decorative painter and work with color daily. i do however appreciate homes with cool colors and a simple zen theme. i personally cant keep things that simple in my decorating as i love baubles and patterns and lots of rich earthy color.
